SUPPER CLUB TILAPIA PARMESAN

A 3.5 ounce piece of tilapia has 26 g of protein and only 3 g of fat and zero carbohydrates. It is high in selenium, niacin, B12 and phosphorus. Very important, tilapia is affordable and tastes less fishy than most fish. 

COBB SALAD WITH BROWN DERBY DRESSING

Cobb salad is one of my favorites. An ideal diet should contain a large amount of vegetables and also a good amount of healthy, natural protein. That’s Cobb salad! 

Greens, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and lots of them, supply ample servings of vegetables for your daily needs. Then mix in your favorite proteins like feta cheese, avocado, chicken or turkey breast, and even a small amount of bacon to make it really tasty. And last, Garnish with your favorite spices and dress with olive oil, lemon and/ or vinegar.

CAULIFLOWER POPCORN – ROASTED CAULIFLOWER

Cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable that contains some of almost every nutrient we need for proper nutrition. It contains 2 g of protein, 5 g of carbohydrate and 0 g of fat with only 25 cal per serving. It is high in fiber and has unique compounds that reduce the risk for diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Cauliflower has antioxidant properties and helps with weight loss. It contains choline which helps maintain a healthy nervous system and sulforaphane which suppresses many forms of cancer. Cauliflower is a great alternative to grains, even in the form of cauliflower rice. 

GRILLED LEMON SALMON

Salmon is simply one of the better fish we have available. It is rich in omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, It is a great source of protein. It contains the antioxidant astaxanthin and can help reduce the risk of heart disease and can benefit weight control. 

Salmon is high in B vitamins, as well as potassium and selenium. Eating salmon two times per week is sufficient to reap its benefits.
